By accessing or using MicroMeet ("the platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use MicroMeet. These terms apply to all users, including event hosts and guests.
MicroMeet is operated by The Malaysian DotCom Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 200601018964).
MicroMeet is an event coordination platform that allows hosts to create gatherings and collect RSVPs from guests. We provide the tools to manage attendance — we are not a party to any event or gathering itself.
To create gatherings, you must register for a host account. You agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You agree not to use MicroMeet to:
We reserve the right to remove any gathering and suspend or permanently terminate any account we reasonably believe is in violation of the above, without prior notice.
Zero-tolerance policy: If we determine, in our sole discretion, that an account has been used to organise, facilitate, or promote criminal activity, vice, exploitation, or any prohibited conduct listed above, the account will be immediately and permanently terminated. Any active paid subscription will be cancelled with no refund of fees paid, including any unused portion of the current billing period. This applies regardless of whether a criminal charge or conviction has been made — we act on suspicion alone to protect the integrity of the platform and the safety of its users.
As a host, you are responsible for how you use the guest information collected through MicroMeet. You must not use guest data (names, emails, phone numbers) for purposes beyond managing your gathering. You must not share, sell, or misuse this information.
All content, design, and code on MicroMeet is owned by The Malaysian DotCom Sdn Bhd. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without our written permission.
MicroMeet is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, always available, or meet your specific requirements. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Malaysian DotCom Sdn Bhd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of MicroMeet, including but not limited to lost data, missed events, loss of revenue, or disputes between hosts and guests.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of MicroMeet — regardless of the form of action — shall not exceed the amount you paid to MicroMeet in the one (1) month immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you are on the free Crew plan, our aggregate liability shall not exceed MYR 1.00.
In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of MicroMeet, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at hello@micromeet.app.
If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days of written notice, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act 2005 (Malaysia). The seat of arbitration shall be Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The language of the arbitration shall be English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.
Free trial: Circle and Community plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends and you will not be billed.
Cancellation: You may cancel your paid subscription at any time by going to your Account Settings and clicking "Cancel Plan", or by contacting us at hello@micromeet.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to your paid plan features until that date.
No partial refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, your plan remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which it will revert to the free Crew plan.
Refund requests: In exceptional circumstances (e.g. billing error or accidental charge), refund requests may be submitted to hello@micromeet.app within 7 days of the charge. We will review requests on a case-by-case basis.
Downgrade: If your paid plan lapses or is cancelled, your account reverts to the Crew plan. Only your 3 most recent or upcoming gatherings remain accessible. Gatherings beyond this limit are archived. If you re-subscribe to a paid plan, all archived gatherings are automatically restored.
This section applies to hosts who enable paid events on MicroMeet ("Community" plan).
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of MicroMeet after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Subject to the arbitration clause above, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia for any matters not subject to arbitration.
The official and controlling language of these Terms of Service is English. While MicroMeet may provide translations of these Terms for convenience, the English version shall prevail in the event of any conflict, inconsistency, or ambiguity between the English text and any translated version. By using MicroMeet, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms in English or have obtained appropriate translation assistance.
